The 2018 Nuclear Science Week Big Event will be hosting multiple events throughout the week of October 15-19, 2018, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Please click here for a full list of events. 

The Colloquial Panels and Nuclear Expo, taking place on Monday, October 15, are free and open to the public. No registration is required.

The NSW 2018 Big Event Movie Night does require registration to attend on Wednesday, October 17, but there is no charge to attend.


2018 Big Event Movie Night

Join the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History and Palo Verde Generating Station on Wednesday, October 17, for the 2018 Nuclear Science Week Big Event Movie Night! Celebrate NSW with a special showing of the CNN Film: Pandora’s Promise and the American Nuclear Society’s Navigating Nuclear: Energizing Our World™ virtual field trip. This event is free and is open to the public.

Doors open at 5:30 pm at the historic KiMo Theater in downtown Albuquerque. You can enjoy free movie theater-style refreshments while enjoying the debut of the American Nuclear Society’s Navigating Nuclear: Energizing Our World™ virtual field trip from 6:00 to 6:30 pm.

Special speakers will then be present to speak about the virtual field trip and about the CNN Film: Pandora’s Promise from 6:30 to 7:00 pm. Pandora’s Promise will begin at 7:00 pm.
