By 2025, Hispanics will make up almost one-third of America’s workforce. As we grow and invest in our communities across the country, we must make sure the Latino voice is heard in the most important areas of American policy — those that affect the most vulnerable populations in our community.
The SRSCRO has developed this 2015 NSW poster to help promote the many career opportunities available in the nuclear industry. The poster will be distributed in early October 2015 throughout eight school districts in the region near Aiken, SC, and Augusta, GA, to share the news that local education and training opportunities are available leading to bright careers in the nuclear industry.
Nuclear Science Week (NSW) is a national, broadly observed celebration to focus local, regional and national interest on all aspects of nuclear science. This year, NSW will be recognized for the sixth year on October 19-23, 2015, and the NSW “Big Event” will take place October 22-24, 2015, in Knoxville, Tennessee.
We have received a letter of commendation and recognition for NSW 2015 from senior Department of Energy officials. Thanks to Dr. Peter B. Lyons, Assistant Secretary of Energy.
