Center for Lifelong Learning Plant Vogtle Field Trip

The Center for Lifelong Learning offers continuing learning opportunities for adults in Aiken, SC and the surrounding CSRA. The Center is associated with the Office of Continuing Education at University of South Carolina Aiken.

Location: Plant Vogtle, 7821 River Rd, Waynesboro, GA
Description: The tour will include a 'Nuclear 101' overview and discussion, and a driving tour of the plant site with one stop at the cooling towers. A tour of a control simulator may be included, if time permits. Attendees must be at the meeting location by 9:30 am. Prior to the tour date, a map will be sent to all students who have registered for the tour. The map will show how to reach the plant and where the meeting location will be. The tour is limited to 25 attendees, which is the capacity of the plant bus.
Cost: $5.00
