Fall Fission Festival

Saturday, October 17, 2026 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm The corner of Laurens St. and Park St. in downtown Aiken, S.C. The Fall Fission Festival is a free, family-friendly event celebrating the excitement of STEM! Guests can explore hands-on activities, giveaways, and prizes from local exhibitors, enjoy Mad Scientist experiments, grab a bite from food trucks, and dance along with a DJ. The museum will also offer free tours throughout the event. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and enter our costume contest for a chance to win fun prizes! A Quiet Zone inside the museum will also feature STEM bins and science-related books for children who prefer a calmer activity. Come learn, explore, and celebrate STEM with us!
