Building a Highly Skilled, Multifaceted Workforce The Savannah River Site (SRS) Apprenticeship School is a structured workforce development initiative aimed at building a highly skilled, multifaceted workforce. SRS faced a pressing need to expand its workforce due to employee attrition, new mission requirements, and the scarcity of nuclear-qualified, highly specialized candidates. To bridge the gap, SRS is committed to developing a pipeline of qualified professionals through a tailored workforce development strategy that creates, trains, and retains talent.
